Being a New Student at University

How are new students treated at University Elementary?
New students are treated very well.  Each teacher is very nice, and almost all the students are friendly.

Some kids will stay with you and help the new kids through the day until they know the routine.

The teachers will help you find places, and tell you what we do, and lots of other things, but first will help you meet the kids in your class.

The teacher will help you find your place to sit, and the teacher might tell you that you can make new friends easily.

 The teachers will tell the new students the rules, and if the students can’t speak English, the teacher might find someone who can translate.

 They will explain how to do things and help you with your work.  They will help you get places.
